
Laura is an actress, writer, and director. Her film writing and directing debut, (le) Rebound, won awards and screened at top festivals around the US and Europe including Camerimage, Palm Springs, and Aspen. The making of her second film, Willing to go there, was profiled in The Hollywood Reporter. Both films are curated online at Vimeo Staff Pick and Short of the Week.

She has performed on stages at The Aspen Music Festival, The Williamstown Theater Festival, and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival to name a few. She collaborated with Guggenheim-winning artist David Levine in performing his one-woman piece 'Best New Work' at REDCAT and Princeton University. She can be seen acting on the critically acclaimed Netflix series Unorthodox.​
Her screenplays have been supported by The Austin Film Festival, The Female Eye Film Festival, and The Canadian Film Centre Development Lab. She is the recipient of the Women in Film Production Program Grant as a writer/director. In 2024, she co-wrote and starred in Clatter & Hum, a feature length road movie, capturing America during the lead up to the presidential election. The film is in post-production.​

Laura is a graduate of The University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts. She lives and works in Los Angeles and Berlin.
